After a woman was found dead near Mannheim racetrack, her former 37-year-old roommate is under suspicion. An arrest warrant has been issued against the woman on suspicion of manslaughter, the prosecutor’s office and the police announced. The body was discovered last Monday. It is still unclear why the 51-year-old woman had to die. Investigators are not commenting on the circumstances surrounding the crime, such as the murder weapon or the results of the autopsy.
There is no known connection to the violent death of a 36-year-old jogger in Lampertheim in southern Hesse in mid-September or to other murders in the region, it said. The woman was found with stab wounds in the woods. The perpetrator has not yet been identified. Lampertheim is about 20 kilometers from Mannheim.
