Prince Harry was spotted having fun while surfing under the California sun and royal fans predicted that he might never return home.

In a video uploaded to Instagram by surf legend Raimana Van Bastolaer, the Duke of Sussex can be seen battling California waves at Kelly Slater’s Surf Ranch in California.

The video was captioned: “In Tahiti we still call you Prince Harry, but in surffranch it’s my brother. It was an honor to have you surf with me and @kellyslater @michaelanders_ at @kswaveco”

Harry’s fans were delighted to see the prince enjoying his time in California and said the video confirmed he would “never be returning” to the UK.

One user wrote to X: “Prince Harry surfing!!!! The UK will never get this guy back full time!!”

Another said: “Harry’s home!”

A third added: “Then they want to tell us he misses the ‘land of beans and rain’.”

A fourth said: “Wow, that was so amazing to watch! He is the living California!

A fifth opined: “Surfing is the most California thing. Prince Harry is doing great.”

A sixth commented: “This is funny! Live life! Imagine they wanted to trap him on the island of bad vibes.”

The Duke of Sussex stepped down as a senior working royal and moved to the US in 2020.

He now lives in Montecito, California with his wife Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibeth.
