Metallica performs “La Chona” in Mexico

Mexico has earned a reputation as one of the most real countries in the world. And something interesting happens every day and today is no exception as the American band Metallica decided to sing their own version of “La Chona”.

All this happened during their M72 World Tour which took place at the GNP Seguros Stadium in CDMX. The band decided to play regional Mexican classics with metal rhythms.

On social media the group was seen on a 360 stage set up in the middle of the venue and led by Robert Trujillo, the band’s guitarist, they sang a popular song by Los Tucanes de Tijuana.

The audience was carried away by the rhythm of the guitar and did not hesitate to sing the lyrics. This is the moment that was captured by social media users.
