British driver Lando Norris took a new pole position by setting the best time in qualifying for the Singapore Grand Prix, but he will be behind Max Verstappen in Sunday’s race.

McLaren’s Norris dominated Friday and Saturday morning’s free practice, allowing him to set a best time on the Marina Bay street circuit with a 1:29.525, two tenths quicker than the Dutchman for Red Bull (1:29.728) and with Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton and George Russell taking over the second row.
Checo Pérez is back in last place
Meanwhile, the three colors of the Red Bull team were eliminated from Q3, so they will start from 13th position in the eighteenth race of the 2024 Formula 1 campaign.
