A Rio 2024 Arts will display a selection of works from Zipper Galeriawhich will be displayed between the days 25 and 29 September in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Gallery booths will be highlighted Unpublished works by various artistsincludes old names and new additions to Contemporary Brazilian art.
Among her works, Nina Pandolfo will present two new large-scale works. Flávia Junqueira will show a new work developed at the Theatro Circo, in Braga, Portugal. Gustavo Rezende, who recently joined the gallery, will debut works that explore issues of scale and architectural space.
Laura Villarosa will present works that reconfigure the natural landscape through textile and painting techniques. Ivan Grilo will present a new work from a series of bronze plaques inscribed with sentences.
In addition, Janaina Mello Landini and Jessica Costa, who will open a solo exhibition at the gallery on September 21, will also be represented at the fair. Zipper Galeria’s participation in ArtRio 2024 seeks to promote the diversity and development of the artists it represents, reinforcing the gallery’s importance in the Brazilian contemporary art scene.
