The mayoral candidate for Ubatã, Simeia Queiroz (Avante), was fined R$223,000 for irregular electoral propaganda. The decision came out last Friday afternoon, the 20th, by judge Carlos Eduardo da Silva Camillo, of the 134th Electoral District.

The candidate, as stated in the decision, would use profiles on social networks to promote election campaigns without notifying the Electoral Court.

Both Simeia and vice presidential candidate Thiago da Connect will also be organizing motorcades on September 7, which is also a violation of election rules.

Simeia Queiroz has faced sanctions such as blocking of personal profiles on social media for promoting irregular propaganda during the campaign.
