Damico glorifies the campaign on the streets –
Salvador mayoral candidate Giovani Damico (PCB) lamented the lack of resources from a special fund for his mayoral campaign. He is the only one of seven candidates in the capital who has not received any party donations.

Despite criticism of the value distribution model, Damico said his campaign has worked closely with street communities.
“This is a very unequal situation. […] Unfortunately, my party did not receive a single penny from the special fund which is the constitutional right of all parties, but there are legal mechanisms used to make things difficult for some parties. This does not discourage us, our challenges are greater, we need to mobilize more, and that is what we have done. It is difficult, but we play to win,” said the PCB candidate.
