A criminal used his teeth to steal a woman’s ring during a robbery of a couple in Copacabana, in Rio’s South Zone.
The incident happened last Monday. The couple was on the sidewalk when two criminals came on a motorbike. The man tried to run and the woman stayed behind.
The robber took her belongings while the others chased the man. After taking the money and the phone, the robber tried to take the woman’s wedding ring and failed, using his mouth to rip it off.
The Military Police reported that they were not called in on the case, but said that police were reinforced in Copacabana. The corporation said the area was also supported by Operation Summer.
Recently, a car thief did something similar by stealing a ring from his victim, this time a man, in a vehicle theft in downtown Rio.
