The death of Hamas leader Sinwar may bring an end to the war in Gaza

Jerusalem

The 61-year-old Palestinian leader was Israel’s main target in Gaza, but it was not a carefully prepared operation that ultimately cost Sinwar his life. His death was an accidental accident.

The Israeli army unit that killed three Hamas fighters in Gaza on Wednesday night was not a commando unit but a regular infantry unit. Israeli media reported that they were fired upon from a building and that the soldiers returned fire, including with rockets. Three bodies were then found; one of them resembled the wanted leader of Hamas.
