New Delhi:

As the countdown to the highly anticipated sequel begins, the cast of Street 2 arrived in Delhi on Wednesday for an exciting promotion. Directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan, the horror-comedy sequel promises to offer a new mix of laughs and spine-tingling scares.
At the press conference, the group shared insights about their latest film and real-life encounters with the supernatural.

Rajkummar Rao, reprising his role as Vicky, playfully remarked, “In Street we had our share of scary experiences. However, in Street 2 the fun has taken center stage. I’d like to think even the ghosts are fans of our film, so we wouldn’t want to scare them away!”

Aparshakti Khurana, known for his role as Bittu, added personality to his ghostly encounter.
Recalling the chilling experience of living in Delhi, he said, “Once when I was coming back from Gurgaon around 3-3:30 AM, I saw something really confusing near the GK1-GK2 flyover. I even took a U-turn to check, but when I looked back, it was gone.”

Echoing Khurana’s story, Abhishek Banerjee, who plays Jaana, nodded in agreement, adding to the spooky atmosphere of the event. Apart from these fascinating stories, the release of the latest song ‘Khoobsurat’ from the film has only added to the excitement.

Shraddha Kapoor’s charismatic performance alongside Rajkummar Rao and Varun Dhawan presents a playful romantic dynamic that teases the audience.
The song is a musical treat that combines romance and drama and creates a perfect prelude to the film’s story.
The recently unveiled trailer of the film sets the stage for an intriguing new villain, Sarkata, who threatens to kidnap all of Chander’s women.
As Vicky transforms into a princely figure to fight this new threat, the film promises to combine its scary roots with fresh comedic twists.
The trailer also showcases Tamannaah Bhatia’s dazzling cameo in the energetic dance track ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ sung by Madhubanti Bagchi and composed by Sachin-Jigar.
Choreographed by Vijay Ganguly, Tamannaah’s performance in a stunning green outfit is a highlight.
Fans of ‘Streen’ – the 2018 hit that uniquely blends horror and comedy – are eagerly awaiting the sequel.
“Stree 2” hits theaters on August 15, 2024, and promises yet another thrilling journey into a world where horror and humor intertwine.
