On the one-year anniversary of his left knee injury, Neymar posted a photo on social media showing the scars from the surgeries he underwent during treatment.
“Marks of a warrior who never gives up on what he wants,” Neymar wrote on his official Instagram account.
In another post, Neymar recalled the day he left the pitch injured in Brazil’s October 2023 World Cup qualifier against Uruguay.
“One year since the worst injury I’ve ever had,” said the star, who used a sad emoji at the end of the text.
Neymar is in full physical recovery at Al-Hilal, Saudi Arabia. He has already returned to training with the ball and even scored a goal during the week.
