Interior Minister Bruno Retaillo confirmed on Tuesday that he wants to present a text identical to the law passed last year and then partially censored, declarations that will not calm the malaise that is already well established in the Macronian left wing.

“I am looking at (this issue) as Minister of Labor and Employment and I agree with the proposals of Patrick Martin, president of Medef or François Asselin, president of the Confederation of SMEs, who say that there is also an economic dimension to the issue of immigration,” the minister said on France 2.
“We are talking about 55,000 visas (issued) on an economic basis to take jobs in domestic conditions, in construction, in professions that we consider essential,” the Macronist minister said.
