Mexican-American comedian Eleazar del Valle, better known as Compa Jasso, died this Thursday after being in an induced coma due to a cerebrovascular event he suffered on October 11.
The news was reported by journalist María Luisa Valdes Doria, who confirmed her death a week after her niece, Jimena Santamaria, reported on her fragile health. According to Ximena, the incident happened at the home where Kompa Yaso lost consciousness before being taken to the hospital where doctors confirmed that he had suffered a stroke.
During his hospitalization, Kompa Yaso’s followers were hopeful for his recovery, but unfortunately his condition was complicated by an increase in his blood pressure, which eventually caused his death.
Compa Yaso, a native of Tulancingo, Hidalgo, moved to Mexico City at a young age and won the affection of the public with his dark humor, building a successful career in the world of entertainment. In 2022, he was diagnosed with kidney failure, which progressively affected his health. Although he was waiting for a transplant, he was never able to receive it.
His passing left a deep void among his fans, but his legacy of laughter and joy will live on in the memories of those who admired him and shared unforgettable moments thanks to his talent.
