As the Bytom City Hall explains, the first people who will be able to benefit from it will be people who have lost their jobs or are scheduled to be laid off in the mining and mining-related industries.
Only 44 people
As part of the project, participants will not only be able to benefit from a non-refundable grant of PLN 100,000 to start their own business, but also from training and advisory support offered in the phase leading up to the establishment of a company – the municipality states.
– 44 people can take part in the project – 26 women and 18 men who work or live in Bytom, who have been affected by the transformation process and whose situation in the labour market allows them to benefit from this form of support – says Jacek Kudzior, Director of the District Department of Labour in Bytom.
Participants who qualify for the project – as guaranteed by the local authority – will be able to count on an individual entrepreneurship path, which will include, among others: verification and preparatory activities for starting a business. They will include, for example, the assessment of the candidate’s skills, professional predispositions and motivation for the project.
– We also offer support related to career counseling and training related to starting and running a business – says Jacek Kudzior.
