Recently re-elected mayor of Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Paez took to social media early this Wednesday afternoon (16) to announce the New Year’s Eve attractions of the city.
Caetano Veloso and Maria Bethânia, Ivete Sangalo and Anitta are the attractions announced by the Social Democrat for the big New Year’s party. Although the location of the shows has not been mentioned, there is a possibility that, like Madonna’s show in May, the shows will take place on the sands of Copacabana.
“I was asked not to run, but…” Paez joked as he announced the names of the artists. “Tourists, you can book your hotel rooms! Karaoke, get ready,” he wrote.
