Exactly one year after the arrest of the person who actually detonated a bomb in the car of a Guardia di Finanza officer in Bacolithe carabinieri of the investigation department of Naples have executed an arrest warrant against others three subjects considered serious suspectsin various capacities, of the production of the explosive device.
Among them a figure the officer’s former partnerbelieved to be the initiator of the attack. They were also charged by magistrates by the prosecutor’s office in Naples with complicity in attempted aggravated murder. During the checks, it was found that the woman was for packaging of homemade ammunition was able to count on the material contribution of two other subjects who also ended up in handcuffs.
The attack on a Guardia di Finanza officer dates back to March 22, 2023. The man was driving the vehicle when the bomb was set off by someone believed to be a few meters from the site of the explosion.
Destroyed car
The victim managed to escape unharmed by the vehicle despite the loud explosion which completely destroyed the car in a few minutes, and although some parts of the car, even of a certain size, were found more than 60 meters from the place of the explosion.
