Investing.com – Mexico stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors propelled shares lower.

The best performers of the session were Banco Del Bajio SA Institution De Banca Multiple (BMV: ), which was up 6.92% or 3.00 points to trade at 46.38 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Televisa SAB Unit (BMV: ) added 4.46% or 0.40 points to end at 9.36 and Becle SA (BMV: ) was up 4.38% or 1.25 points to 29. 78 at the close of trade.
The worst performers of the session were Regional SAB de CV (BMV: ), which fell 1.99% or 2.55 points to 125.65 at the close. Arka Continental SAB De CV (BMV: ) declined 1.64% or 2.96 points to end at 177.19 and UBD for Economic Development of Mexico (BMV: ) declined 1.59% or 3.08 points to 190.89.
Decliners outnumbered advancers on Mexico’s stock market 116 to 110, while 20 ended unchanged.
Gold futures for December delivery rose 0.63%, or 17.05, to $2,708.35 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.53%, or $0.37, to $70.76 a barrel, while December Brent crude fell 0.07%, or $0.05 to $74.47 per barrel.
USD/MXN was up 0.09% at 19.85, while EUR/MXN was up 0.09% at 21.50.
U.S. dollar index futures rose 0.18 percent to 103.59.
