Cristiano Ronaldo announced the launch of a line of luxury watches in partnership with the American jewelry company Jacob & Co.
In the official announcement, the brand emphasizes the Portuguese star’s personal relationship with the brand’s founder, Jacob Arabo.
“Their relationship has now turned into a commercial venture in which Jacob & Co design and produce watches in the image of Cristiano Ronaldo, which are co-branded by both powerhouses,” the brand said on its official website.
Cristiano Ronaldo is a big enthusiast in the watchmaking industry. The player has often been seen using pieces that reach into the millions of dollars, including the Girard-Perregaux Planetarium Tri-Axial, which is worth up to €1.6 million (R$9.8 million) and the Rolex Daytona Rainbow, which is in the €350 thousand range up to EUR 500 thousand (R$ 2.1 million to R$ 3 million).
This is not the first collaboration between CR7 and Jacob & Co. At the end of 2022, the company introduced a pair of watches in partnership with the striker. One edition with diamonds and one without, each limited to 99 pieces and priced between US$34,000 and US$181,000.
In addition to the Portuguese star, the brand also has an ambassador Lionel Messi and has partnerships with clubs such as Manchester City e Barcelona.
