The family of app driver Leandro Mateus Costa Teixeira, 26, has been living in desperate times since the early hours of Sunday (22), when the young man disappeared in Cabo Frio, in the Lagos Region.
According to his family, Leandro left home on Saturday night to attend a party in the Florestinha neighborhood, Unamar region, and gave no further information.
Family members received information from neighbors that a fight had broken out and a boy had been shot. Leandro was reportedly killed with at least five shots to the back during the fight.
According to Leandro’s cousin, Marluce, the information is inconsistent. “Where is the body? The police went there to do an investigation, they said there was blood, they said he ran into an alley and people shot him five times. Every hour there’s a story,” he said.
The disappearance of the young man was recorded in the 126th DP (Cabo Frio) which carried out the search.
Family members searched hospitals and the Legal Medical Institute, but to no avail.
