A young man identified as Caio Carvalho Pereira, 22 years old, was killed on Monday afternoon (23), in a confrontation with the Military Police, in the Queimadinha neighborhood, in Feira de Santana. Drugs, weapons and money were seized from him.
According to information, police officers from the Independent Special Police Company of the Eastern Regional Police Command (CIPE/Leste) were patrolling the area when they identified suspicious behavior.

According to the police report, he had a firearm in his hand and attempted to flee from police when he saw the vehicle enter a residence. Agents entered the property, and the suspect attempted to flee through the backyard again, when another arrest was made.
Caio allegedly resisted, shooting at police officers, who fired back and were hit by the gunfire. The young man was taken by police officers to the Clériston Andrade General Hospital, but did not resist.
A firearm, a mobile phone and some cocaine, crack and marijuana were seized from the suspect, as well as R$1,085 in cash, airtight plastic bags for packaging drugs and scales.
