The Redmi 14C that was launched last month is now joined by an ‘R’ model. The Redmi 14R is built around a 6.88-inch 120Hz HD+ LCD display with 600 nits peak brightness and wet touch support.
The Redmi 14C has a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC at the forefront, with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. The smartphone runs Android 14 HyperOS out-of-the-box.

For photography, you get a 13MP main camera on the back, joined by an unnamed unit, while up front there’s a 5MP camera for selfies and video calls. Keeping the lights on is a 5160mAh battery with support for 18W charging.

Other key features of the Redmi 14R include a dedicated microSD card slot, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Redmi 14R is available in four colors with four memory options – 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB, at prices of CNY 1,099 (USD 155/EUR 140/INR 12,995), CNY 1,499 (USD 210/EUR 190/INR 17,725), CNY 1,699 (USD 240/EUR 215/INR 20,090), and CNY 1,899 (USD 265/EUR 240/INR 22,455), respectively. The smartphone will be sold in China via Xiaomi’s website, but its availability in other markets is unknown.
