A 63-year-old man died after being run over this Saturday (19) in Indayal. He was working on the BR-470 replication project when he was hit by a car. Firefighters were called around 5:30 p.m., but found the victim lying lifeless on the highway.

The car that hit the worker was a Parati which eventually left the road after being run over. There were two people inside who were not injured. The impact of the crash destroyed the car’s windshield, as seen in a photo taken by the rescue team.
The Federal Highway Police (PRF) was at the scene of the accident, which occurred at km 70.5, near the Rio Morto district, but until the publication of this text they did not provide information about the incident.
