A woman was hit by a ‘stray bullet’ on the evening of Friday the 27th, while watching TV inside her home, in the Cabula neighborhood, in Salvador.

According to police reports, the victim was at home when gunfire occurred during a robbery nearby. Two men attempted to steal a vehicle when others reacted. There is no information yet on who fired the shot that hit the woman.
The victim was taken to Roberto Santos Hospital. The Civil Police did not say which unit would investigate the case.
