Saif Ali Khan turned one on Friday (August 16). In a special event, manufacturers Devara: Part One dropped the new teaser of the film featuring Saif Ali Khan. The promo reveals the menacing charm of Saif’s character Bhaira and shows him in all his brutal glory. The teaser opens with Bhaira dominating a brutal ring fight where his ferocity is met with cheers from the enthusiastic crowd. We then see him bloodied but triumphant, and later in a dramatic sequence, Saif runs through the forest, showing his agility as he grabs a gun mid-air.
The caption read, “His hunt is legendary. Introducing Saif Ali Khan from the world of #Bhairana #Devara.”
Directed by Kortala Siva, Devara: Part 1 is a highly anticipated Telugu film which marks the Telugu film debut of Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. Devara stars Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Srikanth and Shine Tom Chacko in lead roles. Produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, the film has cinematography by Rathnavelu ISC, production designer Sabu Cyril and editing by Sreekar Prasad.
Originally planned as a standalone film, Devara has been split into two parts, with the first part hitting theaters on September 27. Post-Devara, Jr NTR will next be seen opposite Hrithik Roshan in War 2.
