Simões Filho’s team is among the 16 teams classified for the round of 16 –
Goal and penalty decisions are marked this afternoon, Sunday, the 22nd, in the third phase of the Intermunicipal Ednaldo Rodrigues. 16 teams are guaranteed a place in the last 16 of the world’s largest non-professional competition.
Simões Filho, Eunápolis and Cachoeira took center stage with big wins over Glória, Brumado and Itagimirim respectively. Conceição da Feira, Itapetinga and Quijingue eliminated Serrinha, Uruçuca and Coaraci, respectively, in maximum penalties.
