Windmills and biomethane in one act. Will the new regulations open the door to investment?

Both industry organizations and environmental activists express their warm opinions about the government project.

The Ministry of Climate and Environment has submitted for public consultation a long-awaited draft amendment to the Law on Investments in Wind Farms. In particular, the industry is waiting for the planned minimum distance of turbines from buildings to be reduced from the current 700 meters to 500 metres. The project also defines a support framework for biomethane. Poland, as one of the last EU countries, practically does not use its potential in this area.

Environmentalists are happy with the settlement
