We are trying to ensure that the most serious and common rare diseases are fully recognised and funded, and that patients diagnosed with them are fully cared for by the state. We want to see a specialised centre for rare diseases (OECR) established in each voivodeship, Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced on 23 August. On 13 August, the government adopted a resolution on the Plan for Rare Diseases for 2024–2025. This is a project that you have been working on since the beginning. It is said to be set to revolutionise the treatment of rare diseases in Poland.
