John Abraham is getting ready for release Vedas. The film opens in theaters on August 15. Now, as part of a promotional campaign, the actor appeared on content producer Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast. The actor spoke about the hurdles he still has to overcome in the industry. He said, “I produced Vicky donor. I made films like that Madras Cafe and Batla’s house– But to this day I have to convince the studio heads that this is a different film and finance my process. To this day, they don’t have 100 percent faith and tell me the budget is too much.”
John Abraham also talked about the signing amount of the film. “As an actor, my salary does not burden the film. I feel that if the film makes money, I will make money. I don’t want to download the movie. Well, the sea is already open, shark, already the sea standard shark, I make movies according to it. I’m very proud of my content,” he explained.
John Abraham also added that studio heads often don’t respond to him, especially since he doesn’t use WhatsApp. He said: “First of all I don’t have WhatsApp so if I text people they don’t reply me. I don’t get a reply for a long time. I had texted the studio manager and he told me he’ll be back but it’s been 4.5 months and he hasn’t I don’t feel bad, but I think if people believe me, I’d like to try to change Indian cinema a little bit. I’m not saying I’m a game changer.
He talks about his upcoming films Tehran and DiplomatJohn Abraham added, “I want to do entertaining films and some geopolitics because I’m interested in that. My upcoming films will Tehran and Diplomatthese are excellent movies. I want to package them in an interesting way and show it to the public.”
