Who will be the PiS presidential candidate? We will find out on 11/11

“I hope he will be the candidate of a broader, right-wing and conservative camp that goes beyond the borders of PiS. We need this to win the elections,” PiS MP Zbigniew Bogucki said in an interview with Interia. Without revealing details, he revealed that his party is now conducting polls to select the right candidate. “I think November 11 is the symbolic and final date when everything should be known,” said the former voivode of Western Pomerania.

Could Zbigniew Bogucki be the PiS candidate in the next presidential election? This cannot be ruled out, although the interested party does not want to comment on these leaks.

Who will be the candidate from our political circle depends on the team working on Law and Justice, and President Jarosław Kaczyński will have the decisive vote in the final choice, after presenting the results of the work of this team. The team has requested full tests and much will depend on the results. Personal ambitions or plans do not matter in this case, because the most important thing is that it is a candidate who will defeat Donald Tusk or Rafał Trzaskowski and stop this storm of lawlessness and ideological rollercoaster, that are currently sweeping across Poland. We have to defend ourselves against this

– said Bogucki and added that issues “like silence”. In his opinion Tusk will only run in the presidential election if he has a high probability of winning.

The presidential elections could be a new beginning

The presidential election could bring new dynamics. Today, the differences between the parties that make up the government are being overcome. aggressive anti-IP policy, but in the long run, anti-IP alone will not be enough. And this is also our chance. As PiS, we cannot waste this time, we must bring together people and communities around us today, even those who have been somewhat distant from us until now, in order to create understanding in the future.

– said the Law and Justice politician.

Bogucki believes that PiS should choose one of two options. It can choose a candidate with experience in politics and government administration, experienced in dealing with crises, but will have to take into account the aggressive propaganda of the Tusk camp. However, it is possible to select a less recognizable candidate, who will not have so many “burdens” and will unite broad circles.

The team works on the basis of specific premises, examining expectations regarding the right-wing candidate or, more broadly, the patriotic camp, because let us remember that must be a candidate who convinces PiS voters and at the same time is able to build broader support

— says the former voivode of Western Pomerania. In addition to choosing a candidate who will run in the presidential elections and defeat the candidates of the ruling team, PiS must rebuild its political environment.

If we want to build a broad and modern right, we cannot succumb to pressure from minorities and we must take a clear position on fundamental issues. Both with regard to the issues of abortion on demand and the legalization of civil partnerships, These are the issues that we must face face to face and protect the foundations of our values, but at the same time do so in dialogue and with due sensitivity.

– Bogucki says clearly, who also commented on the actions of the Tusk government, which, instead of solving the problems facing Poles, focuses on repression against opposition politicians. He recalls that PiS behaved differently after coming to power.

When we were in power, we did not focus on settling scores or hating our predecessors, but on implementing our positive program for Poland and the Poles (…). Was the Cela Plus program missing from our activities? I think it is missing.

– said the deputy from the PiS club, who, however, does not regret that his government was the first to fulfill the promises made in the elections.

If I had to decide again whether to adopt a “yes” or “no” policy, I would choose the “yes” action. Furthermore, today’s surveys also show that what matters most to people is not settlements, but security, electricity bills, prices and the implementation of essential investments for the country. I think Donald Tusk’s government will lose in the long run if it holds PiS accountable and will burn out much more quickly than it could if it focused on governing.

– said the Law and Justice politician.
