Aamir Khan appeared as a guest on Rhea Chakraborty’s podcast Chaper 2. Aamir Khan and Rhea talked about movies, stardom, dealing with grief and different aspects of their lives. Later, Aamir Khan sent Rhea a message liking her audition. Recalling the days and Aamir Khan’s message, Rhea said, “You have sent me a message. I thought it was very, very surprising because I have auditioned for thousands of films, but it has never happened that when you don’t get a film, when the producer, director or actor texts you and says, ‘Sorry, your audition was great, but the fact is we couldn’t go.’ But you had done it, and I was really, really upset, and I showed that message to mom, dad, and everybody, and I said, ” Look, I’m a good actor.”
Aamir Khan shared his insight about the tough days and added, “I feel like when you’re struggling as an actor, because when I was new in the industry, I auditioned and got rejected everywhere. I know that feeling. So I feel like if I haven’t got that role, I should at least be told that I didn’t get that role. Otherwise, I’d wait and wonder if I’d get it or not.
