Michał Probierz has announced the line-up of the Polish national team for the away match against Scotland in the first round of the top division of the Nations League. The coach has named Marcin Bułka and Kacper Urbański, while Robert Lewandowski and Krzysztof Piątek will play in attack. The match in Glasgow kicks off at 20:45.
Michał Probierz does not hide that the Nations League games will select a goalkeeper for the national team “for years”, including: for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Wojciech Szczęsny ended his career at the end of August.
The Polish national team coach finally chose Marcin Bułka, who usually plays for the French national team OGC Nice.
Robert Lewandowski, however, is not thinking about retiring from football breaks its own record in number of matches played for the national team. This will be his 153rd appearance for the national team.
He will be joined in attack by the player who has recently been in very good form Krzysztof Piatek.

The Polish national team has been in the top division of the Nations League since the start of the competition, but never advanced to the Final Four tournament.
The first and second placed teams in each group will play in the quarter-finals, the third placed teams will play the play-offs to remain in the highest division (their rivals will be the second placed teams in the groups of division B), and the teams occupying the fourth positions will be relegated.
On Sunday, the whites and reds face Croatia, also away from home.
