Table tennis players Patryk Chojnowski and Piotr Grudzień won the gold medal in doubles at the Paris Paralympic Games in the MD18 category. This is the sixth gold medal won by the Polish team at this event and the third gold medal in the most valuable metal.

In the final, the Poles defeated the Chinese duo Chaodong Liu and Yiqing Zhao 3:0 (13:11, 11:8, 11:7).
In the previous days, two gold medals were won by swimmer Kamil Otowski in the 50 and 100 m backstroke (S1), and three bronze medals were won by: Lech Stoltman in shot put (F55) and table tennis players – in mixed doubles (XD17) Karolina Pęk and Piotr Grudzień and Pęk and Natalia Partyka (WD20) in doubles.
Róża Kozakowska, who won the club throwing competition (class F32) on Friday, was disqualified for using illegal equipment. The Polish national team’s appeal was rejected.
