Wakacje.pl sales revenue in 2023 reached PLN 320.04 million, growing by 64% year-on-year. from PLN 195.15 million. In terms of values, only revenues from tour sales increased the most – from PLN 172.1 to PLN 273.08 million.
In turn, sales of travel insurance increased from PLN 20.13 to PLN 33.89 million, and sales of parking spaces – from PLN 563 thousand to PLN 7.36 million (in February last year, Wakacje.pl absorbed Parklot, a company offering such services, acquired in autumn 2018).
Wakacje.pl sells travel and tour services not only on its websites Wakacje.pl and Easygo.pl, but also through fixed agencies (both its own and franchised) and through a call center. The last time the company experienced a recession in the foreign tourism market was right after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine.

On the cost side, the largest category by far is external services, for which Wakacje.pl allocated PLN 164.2 million in 2023, compared to PLN 106.58 million a year earlier. Personnel expenses increased from PLN 39.35 million to PLN 55.62 million, depreciation expenses – from PLN 9.54 million to PLN 10.68 million, consumption of materials and energy – from PLN 1.22 million to PLN 1.64 million, costs by type defined as others – from PLN 3.4 to PLN 7.5 million, and the value of goods and materials sold – from PLN 492 thousand. up to PLN 1.56 million.
The increase in other operating income by PLN 490,000 was a positive factor for the company’s profitability. up to PLN 2.3 million (of which PLN 1.21 million resulted from the revaluation of accounts receivable) and financial inflows of PLN 314 thousand up to PLN 1.14 million (mainly from interest, guarantees and favorable exchange rate changes), as well as a decrease in financial costs from PLN 929,000 to PLN 160,000. Another PLN 50 million for dividends from Wakacje.pl
Wakacje.pl’s profitability has more than doubled. At the operating level, it increased from PLN 35.06 to PLN 81.13 million, and at the net level (last year the company paid PLN 16.95 million in income tax, compared to PLN 7.08 million a year earlier) – from PLN 27.36 to PLN 65.15 million.
Owning 100 percent of Wirtualna Polska Wakacje.pl owns shares through its company Wirtualna Polska Media. As the sole investor, it has decided that will receive PLN 85 million in dividends: all last year’s profit plus PLN 19.84 million from previous profits. PLN 60 million was paid by July 10, and the rest will be transferred by September 25.

This is much more than last year, when Wakacje.pl’s dividends amounted to PLN 35.08 million (of which PLN 6.63 million came from supplementary capital).
A year and a half ago, Wakacje.pl ceased to be the largest subsidiary of Wirtualna Polska Holding in the tourism sector. At the end of 2022, the company completed the acquisition for approximately PLN 83 million. the Hungarian Szallas Group, which owns accommodation booking platforms in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Romania, Poland (Noclegi.pl) and Croatia. However, in June this year a subsidiary of the Szallas Group agreed to buy 80% for €16.8 million. shares of the owner of the Romanian tourism platform Litoralul Romanesc.
