vivo launched the Y18 in India in May, and today it unveiled the ‘i’ model in the country. The vivo Y18i is powered by the Unisoc T612 SoC and runs on Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card.
The Vivo Y18i is built around a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 528 nits HBM brightness. It also has a notch for a 5MP selfie camera. There is a dual camera setup at the back – a 13MP primary camera and a 0.08MP secondary camera.
Powering the vivo Y18i is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W charging. It also has an IP54 rating and stereo speakers. If all this sounds familiar, that’s because the Y18i is a rebranded Y03t that was unveiled yesterday, with the only difference being that the Y03t has Bluetooth 5.2 instead of 5.0, and an additional 128GB storage option.
Live Y18i
The vivo Y18i comes in Space Black and Gem Green colours and is priced at INR 7,999 ($95/€85). It will be sold via vivo’s Indian website but should be available in offline stores as well.
