vivo’s upcoming T3 Pro smartphone was leaked a few days ago and then spotted on the Geekbench online database with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor at the helm.
Now, vivo has started promoting the device by putting up a dedicated microsite for India. It reveals that the T3 Pro’s 3D curved AMOLED screen will have a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
According to vivo, this makes the T3 Pro “the brightest curved phone in its segment.” The microsite also gives us a look at the back of the phone, and we can clearly see that it will have a faux leather finish, at least in the orange color. More details on that should come on August 20.
vivo is also promising a “turbo processor” to be unveiled on August 21, a Sony sensor for the main camera (to be unveiled on August 23), and a “turbo battery” to be unveiled on August 26.
This means that the official launch will take place at some point after August 26, but most likely not Very later – otherwise the announcements will be forgotten.
According to the aforementioned leak, the battery will be 5,500mAh and the main rear camera will be 50MP. The phone is also expected to be 7.49mm thick. It will be the successor to the T2 Pro that was launched in September last year.
