This Saturday 28th, a vehicle broker was seriously injured in an attempted murder in the Brasiliana neighborhood, in Arapiraca. The incident occurred when a neighbor asked to see the battery at the broker’s salon. While talking, the man took out a knife and stabbed the victim in the neck until he immediately screamed for help.
Neighbors mobilized and provided first aid. After the attack, the suspect fled to his residence, then washed his blood-stained hands before disappearing.
The Mobile Emergency Service (Samu) was called, but the victim was taken by private vehicle to the Agreste Emergency Hospital, in Arapiraca. The man’s health status was not reported.
