Vedang Raina Voices Jigra Song Phoolo Ka Taaron: “An Unforgettable Experience”

The teaser trailer of ‘Jigra’ has been trending ever since its release. Vedang Raina captivated the audience not only with his powerful performance but also with his soulful voice.

Not long ago, Alia Bhatt took to Instagram and released the teaser trailer video on Sunday.
The video starts with Alia having a drink in a restaurant and telling someone a story about her brother and her life.

In the video, he is heard saying that there is very little time and he has to do a lot.
Then as the video progresses, Vedang Raina is seen under arrest and Alia tries to free him. He will be assisted in this task by Manoj Pahwa and Rahul Ravindran.
Alia prepares to face the goons and even fights with them.

The teaser shows the sisterly bond between Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina in the background of the song ‘Phoolon ka Taaron’.

Vedang has sung a modern interpretation of Phoolo’s Ka Taaro Ka. The song beautifully creates the atmosphere of Jigra’s theme.

Expressing his excitement at getting the chance to sing the song, Vedang said in a statement shared by his team, “Singing Phoolon Ka Taaron Ka for Jigra was an unforgettable experience for me. Music has always been a huge part of my life and when the makers saw some of my singing on social media, they believed it would be perfect for this film. Vedang interestingly gave glimpses of vocal prowess in Raksha Bandhan. She sang the song for her on-screen sister Alia Bhatt during an Instagram live broadcast.
The film is slated to release on October 11, 2024. ‘Jigra’ is the second film of Vedang who debuted last year with Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’.
The makers announced the release date of the movie on 13th June. Previously, it was supposed to be released on September 27, 2024, but now the public can watch it in cinemas on October 11. from
Sharing an update on the release date change, Alia took to Instagram and wrote, “11.10.2024 | JIGRA | See you at the movies.” He also dropped the new poster of the film.
Jigra, directed by Vasan Bala, also stars Vedang Raina.
Director Vasan Bala previously directed films like ‘Monica O My Darling’, crime thriller ‘Peddlers’ and ‘Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota’.
In February 2024, Alia shared pictures from the sets after wrapping up a film made under the Dharma Productions banner.
While sharing the post, she earlier mentioned, “jigra oh… abki teri baari ho @vedangraina & it’s a film wrap #JIGRA @vasanbala at @swapsagram. See you soon.”
Khushi and Vedang had previously made their acting debut together as Betty Cooper and Reggie Mantle in Zoya Akhtar’s Indian adaptation of Archie Comics which premiered on Netflix. The film also stars Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Mihir Ahuja, Yuvraj Menda and Dot among others.
