2019 comedy film directed by Nitesh Tiwari Chhichhore September 6 turned 5 years old. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the cast was led by late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Sharma. Prateik Patil Babbar, Tahir Raj Bhasin and Naveen Polisetty were also part of the film. As Chhichhore 5-year-old Varun Sharma, who played the role of Gurmeet ‘Sexa’ in the film, took a walk down memory lane and shared a series of ‘special’ BTS moments from the film’s locations on Instagram. He also paid tribute to his colleague Sushant Singh Rajput, who portrayed the character of Aniruddh Pathak aka Kammo in the film.
In the first picture, Varun Sharma is standing near the balcony wearing a suit. The following picture is a selfie, supposedly clicked on one of Kapil Sharma’s comedy shows. It has the Cast Chhichhoreincluding Sushant, Shraddha Kapoor, Naveen Polisetty and others. The following pictures show Chhichhore the gang is having fun and wearing million dollar smiles. With one click, the cast will pose together, hand-in-hand in the iconic Losers t-shirt. The carousel ends with a scene from the film where Varun and Sushant are having a conversation.
“Creepy (heart emoji). Let’s celebrate Chhichhore. A film that is so special and so close to all of us,” was Varun Sharma’s heartfelt message. Shraddha Kapoor commented on the post, “Kammmoooo (smiley emoticon).”
Shraddha Kapoor turned 5 years old Chhichhore by dropping a photo and video montage on their Instagram timeline. The first video captures her and Sushant Singh Rajput posing for goofy photos on the sets with Tahir Raj Bhasin. In a separate picture, the cast and crew cut the cake. Nitesh Tiwari also appears in one of the frames. Along with the post, Shraddha wrote, “Woh din bhi kya din the” referring to one Chhichhoren beloved songs sung by Arijit Singh.
Chhichhore was one of Sushant Singh Rajput’s last films. He died on 14 June 2020.
