Who is entitled to the energy voucher?
Energy voucher This support is intended for families with lower incomes. To receive the benefit, the income per person, in the case of single-person households, cannot exceed PLN 2,500, and in the case of families with several people – 1,700 PLN per person.
The value of the voucher depends on the number of people in the household and is as follows:
- PLN 300 for a single-person family,
- 400 PLN for families of 2 to 3 people,
- 500 PLN for 4-5 people,
- PLN 600 for families of 6 people or more.
Benefit of up to PLN 1,200. For whom?
For families who use heating powered by electricitythe value of the energy voucher will be double. The value of the voucher in this case will be:
- PLN 600 for a single-person family,
- PLN 800 for a family with several people (2-3 people),
- 1,000 PLN for families with 4-5 people,
- 1,200 PLN for families of 6 people or more.
The “penny for penny” principle
Even if the income criterion is exceeded, it is possible to apply for an energy voucher. The “penny for penny” principle applies, which means that the benefit amount will be reduced by the amount of the income limit exceeded. The minimum voucher payment will be PLN 20.
