South East Technology University (SETU), located in Carlow (Ireland), has launched a professional career focused on training ‘influencers’ and digital content creators.

Titled Content Creation and Social Networking, this program lasts four years and aims to prepare students to create much more impactful works, communicate properly and monetize their profiles effectively.

The curriculum includes both practical and theoretical subjects addressing key aspects of content creation. In addition to video production, the course offers subjects such as psychology applied to social media marketing, data analysis and storytelling.

Careers are not limited to creating videos for platforms like TikTok, YouTube or Instagram, but delve into core skills such as content organization, campaign planning and digital entrepreneurship.

SETU strives for its students to master both the technical side of content creation as well as building confidence in front of the camera. In addition, the program provides them with the tools to manage their own digital venture, preparing them for success in a highly competitive field.
