Ukraine has offered to help Poland in the fight against floods. Prime Minister Szmyhal informed Donald Tusk about his readiness to send 100 rescue teams, along with specialized equipment.
Ukrainian rescue services remained operational
“Despite the ongoing war, Ukraine is still able to help other countries in times of natural disasters. Last year, Ukrainian rescue teams helped Slovenia fight floods by providing specialized equipment such as excavators. Meanwhile, at the same time, Ukraine itself was facing serious consequences after the destruction of the Nowa Kachówka dam. Despite its own problems, Poland was the first to help, providing the necessary equipment, including pumps and tanks with drinking water.
