The series “Blood of Blood”, thanks to its gripping plot and excellent acting, has gained great recognition among viewers and critics. It is a story about the ruthless mafia, dirty business, loyalty and a strong woman who fights for her family – says TVP in a statement.
Carmen (Agata Kulesza) – a mother of three and wife of a smuggler – must take a risky gamble to protect her family. The first season ended with Carmen fleeing abroad. In the second season, the main character returned to Poland, trying to rebuild her life – far from the world of crime she has known since childhood.

The new series continues the story known from the previous two seasons. Carmen is released from women’s prison after serving her sentence. She begins a new, honest life as a wife and mother. However, the woman’s dreams of peace, far from the interests of the mafia, are quickly buried.
The series was commissioned by Canal+, where it was released in 2012. Then the first season, directed by Xawery Żuławski, was bought by public television and aired in the winter of 2013/2014 on TVP2. The second season, directed by Jan Komasa, was commissioned by TVP and premiered on Dwójka in the spring of 2015.
Michał Rogalski will be responsible for directing the final episode of the series (“Spy Bay”, “Girls at War”). In the lead roles we will once again see Agata Kulesza as Carmen Rota-Majewska; Bartłomiej Topa as Jan, Carmen’s partner; Małgorzata Kozłowska as Natalia – Carmen’s daughter; Maciej Musiał as Carmen’s son.
Szymon Bobrowski as Bronek will also return to the series; Iwona Bielska as Anna, Carmen’s mother; Mariusz Bonaszewski as Luther; Izabela Kuna as Carmen’s friend – Sandra; Przemysław Bluszcz as Wąsacz and Adam Woronowicz as lawyer Lipski. Mirosław Haniszewski, Piotr Pacek, Karolina Rzepa and Renata Dancewicz join the cast.
The series will be filmed in and around Warsaw, as well as in the Tricity. Filming will take place from August to December this year. The premiere of new episodes of “Krew z Krwi” is scheduled for spring 2025.
