TVP Info coding began on Friday 14 June with the start of Euro 2024. – Due to licensing restrictions that allow Telewizja Polska to cover Euro 2024 and the Paris Olympic Games only in Poland, the broadcaster will temporarily limit the TVP Info signal to the country’s territory. distributed via satellite, terrestrial, cable networks and the Internet. The TVP Info satellite signal (available on the Hot Bird 13E satellite) will be encrypted from June 14 to August 11, 2024. In the case of terrestrial, cable and Internet distribution, access restrictions to TVP Info will take place from June 14 to July 14, 2024 and from July 26 to August 11, 2024. Customers of Polish satellite platforms will have access to the content without any restrictions. On August 12, 2024, the broadcaster will return to wide foreign distribution – Telewizja Polska explained in a statement at the time.
The TVP Info channel is decoded again. It can be found on the 10.719 GHz transponder, pol. V, SR=27500, FEC=3/4. During two major sporting events, the station’s satellite broadcast was available only to subscribers of Polsat Box, Canal+ and Orange Polska. There were no encodings for digital terrestrial television (MUX-3). Subscribers of cable networks, telecom operators and streaming services also experienced no changes.
No more Eurosport special channels
Due to the end of the Games, Eurosport’s special channels have also disappeared. Eurosport 3-9 and Eurosport 4K operated from July 26 to August 11. Warner Bros. has also announced that they will be available on the UK’s official website. In recent months, Discovery has managed to sign distribution agreements for these channels with cable networks Vectra, Inea, Toya, operators Play and T-Mobile, as well as with the digital platform Polsat Box (and the Polsat Box Go service).
After the special broadcasts ended, posters appeared announcing that the Paris Games had ended. The broadcaster also recalled that the Winter Olympics will be held in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo in 2026.

Astra allows you to receive additional German-language stations, music stations and free CNN broadcasts. The digital platforms Polsat Box and Canal+ available in Poland use the Hot Bird 13E position. You can mainly find channels from Italy and Arab countries.
According to data from Nielsen Audience Measurement, in the first half of 2024, TVP Info’s average minute audience was 74,429 viewers, and the audience share was 1.32%. (compared to 4.66% a year earlier).
