TVN’s 2024 fall schedule, news and changes to the weekend schedule

Although the official presentation of TVN’s autumn programming offer is scheduled for August 21, the Wirtualnemedia.pl portal managed to get acquainted with the outline of the biggest changes in the upcoming schedule. A surprise, at least for some, may be the change in broadcast times for weekend entertainment programs: “Asia Express” and “MasterChef”, which will start earlier in the new season, at 7:30 pm..

– TVN will always be a modern brand that constantly seeks the best answers to the needs and expectations of viewers in today’s ever-changing world. Today we are making a bold change, because that is what TVN is. This season we have great shows and a new schedule. Viewers will not have to wait or look elsewhere for the best entertainment. After “Fakty”, we will invite them to the last episodes of “Azja Express” and “MasterChef” – says Lidia Kazen, director of TVN channel.

Weekends without “Attention!”. “Sport” and “Weather” before “Fakty”

Thus, the weekend editions of the magazine “Uwaga!” “Sport” and “Weather”, similar to the summer programming, will continue to be broadcast before the main edition of “Fakty”, both during the week and at the weekend.. As explained by the broadcaster’s authorities, this change was well received by viewers and hence the decision to maintain it.

On weekdays, the news and social media section will end with the “Uwaga!” magazine, which will be broadcast right after the extended editions of “Fakty” (since July, TVN’s main news program has been just over 30 minutes long). Later, at 8:50 p.m., a new format will appear in the current “Millionaire” slot – the documentary soap opera “B&B love”. The program, whose protagonists are homeowners looking for love, will premiere on August 26. New episodes of “Millionaires” will return to their original broadcast in November.

“Klara” and “Murderczynie”: the new TVN series

The series “Klara” and “Murderczynie” are, along with “B&B love”, new additions to the autumn schedule. The first of them is the original production of Player, which premiered on the mentioned platform this spring. “Klara” is a series about a mature woman (the title role is played by Izabela Kuna, who is also a creative producer) from a big city and with a lot of personal experience. A failed marriage, a toxic mother (played by Iwona Bielska) and an unrequited love for a married lawyer (Adam Woronowicz) – these are the main plots of the production.

“Murderczynie” is a crime series whose script is based on real stories of women described by Katarzyna Bonda in a collection of reports with the same title. The six-episode production directed by Kristoffer Rus and starring stars such as: Maja Pankiewicz, Izabela Kuna, Eliza Rycembel and Tomasz Schuchardt is so far only available to users of the Viaplay platform, where it premiered in the fall of 2023.

Sequels to successful entertainment

What else? Mainly the entertainment formats well-known to viewers are returning to TVN. On Mondays at 9:30 pm, Dorota Szelągowska will invite you to new inner transformations and meetings with her unique heroes in the program “Total Renovations of Szelągowska”. On Tuesdays, with the 10th season, “Marriage at First Sight” returns, and the evening time slot will invariably be reserved for Kuba Wojewódzki’s talk show (this will be the 36th season of her program). On Wednesday evenings on TVN we will again see “Top Model” (last year the program was broadcast on Saturdays). In the 13th edition of the show, Joanna Krupa, Katarzyna Sokołowska, Michał Piróg, Marcin Tyszka and Dawid Woliński will be accompanied by Sofia Konecka-Menescal, whose task will be to support the participants.

Thursday is traditionally a date with Magda Gessler and her “Kitchen Revolutions,” and Friday nights are a time for film screenings at Superkino. On September 6, “Top Gun: Maverick” will have its television premiere in Poland on TVN, and on September 27, “Elvis” with Austin Butler in the title role of the king of rock and roll. In addition to new releases, the channel will also show the series “The Hangover,” “Batman,” “Aquaman,” “Heaven in Hell” and the thriller “A Quiet Place.”

Weekend show earlier than before

On Saturdays, as already mentioned, earlier (7:30 p.m.) we will see the fourth season of “Azja Express”. This time, Agnieszka and Piotr Głowaccy will race through the Philippines to Taiwan, Marta Wiśniewska with her daughter Fabienne, Jan Błachowicz with his friend Józef Gąsienica-Gładczan, Wiktor Dyduła with his sister Anna Chrzanowska, Gabi Drzewiecka with her friend Jagna Niedzielska, Jessica Mercedes Kirschner with her brother Justin Kirschner, Jacek Jelonek with his partner Oliwer Kubiak and Aleksandra Adamska with her sister Ewelina Porczyk.

The next episode of MasterChef will air on Sundays on the same channel as Azja Express. Przemysław Klima, chef and co-owner of the only restaurant in Poland with two Michelin stars, will make his debut as a judge, alongside Magda Gessler and Michel Moran. In addition to the new judge, the amount of the main prize will also change in this edition of the cooking show, which has increased to PLN 200,000. zloty. The premiere episodes of the new season of Martyna Wojciechowska’s show “A Woman at the End of the World” will also be broadcast on this day.

As in previous years, TVN’s autumn programme will start in the last week of August, when the daily editions of “Dzień Dobry TVN” will return to air. The programme will also include “Detektywi” and “Na Wspólnej”. The next edition of “Lego Masters” will also air in late autumn.
