Tomasz Smokowski announced his separation from Channel Sportowy in a recording published on Monday. – I decided it was the best time to take a longer break. Maybe permanent, maybe not – that remains to be seen, he said.
Smokowski disappeared from the Sports Channel a few weeks ago, shortly after the end of the Paris Olympics. During the games, he co-hosted a show that aired nightly.
He added: “I think it’s better to say thank you and bow a day earlier than a year later.” – Dragon, thank you. You are forever part of the Sports Channel – we read on the channel’s profile on the X portal.
Tomasz Smokowski has been associated with Channel Sportowy since the project’s launch in early 2020. Previously, he worked at Polsat for several years and was associated with the sports editorial team of Canal+ for many years, including: as director and presenter of “Liga+ Extra”. It was thanks to this program, produced together with Andrzej Twarowski, that he became the most recognized.

On the Sport Channel, Smokowski mainly hosted shows about football, tennis and interviews with pop culture stars. We recently reported that the channel is continuing with the “Winger, Goalkeeper and Link” format, but Tomasz Smokowski has been replaced by Mateusz Borek as host.
It is not known at this point whether Smokowski’s resignation also means that he is getting rid of his shares in the project. He is one of the co-owners of Channel Sportowy, alongside Mateusz Borek, Michał Pol and Maciej Wandzel, who replaced Krzysztof Stanowski less than a year ago.
