Tom Kerridge shares a two-ingredient snack that helped with weight loss

Celebrity chef Tom Kerridge has shared his secret to an impressive 12 stone weight loss and credits changing snacking choices as key.

In a candid chat with Grace Dent on the Comfort Eating podcast, Kerridge shared how changing her diet paved the way for a healthier lifestyle.

Revealing his newfound snack obsession, Tom enthused: “It’s the ultimate snack! It’s cheese and grapes. It’s cheddar and red grapes and they’re always in my fridge because it’s super easy, you don’t have to cook. It’s gives you sugar and vitamins.”

He continued, “Usually the seeds (grapes), so you get the sugary goodness, but you also get the feeling of the vitamins coming through. And the cheese is amazing to me! It’s like the ultimate snack.”

Kerridge also recommended his favorite brands Cathedral City and Pilgrims Choice, while acknowledging the past: “It used to be cheese on toast and an old Pringles tube with a pint of gin,” reported Gloucestershire Live.

As the conversation progressed, he opened up about the whirlwind that led to his engagement to Beth Cullen-Kerridge just six weeks after they first met.

Tom recalled their unusual meeting in a pub, where Beth unexpectedly asked him: “Give me three pounds for this stripper”.

Guarded but interested, she replied: “I was all right so I gave him three pounds for this stripper and he never turned up.

“We got along really well, we’ve been together quite a lot since that day.”

After spending the night at her flat, Tom recalled the next day: “He came back and fully expected me to be away with the telly and he’d come back and I’d make a stuffed chicken breast in cream sauce.

“So somehow I beat him with pasta from the 24-hour store.”
