Just like last weekend against Gremio, coach Tite will make changes to Flamengo’s starting lineup for the Brazilian Championship. In Sunday’s clash against Atletico Madrid, at 8pm, at the Maracanã, Rubro Negro will have six new players in the starting squad.
Wesley, David Luiz, Ayrton Lucas, Pulgar, Alcaraz and Matheus Gonçalves will be among the new options for the coach, who will dispense with names such as Varela, Fabricio Bruno, Leo Pereira, Alex Sandro, De La Cruz and Plata. Only Leo Ortiz, Arscaeta, Gerson, Rossi and Bruno Henrique are starting – among those currently considered starters.
Tite’s selection aims to be in the entire starting team to face Corinthians, in midweek, in the Brazilian Cup. The coach took the same position against Gremio last Sunday, as he thought about the confrontation against Peñarol for the Libertadores title.
Flamengo expected lineup:Russian; Wesley, Leo Ortiz, David Luiz and Ayrton Lucas; Bolgar, Alcaraz, Arascaita; Gerson, Mateus Gonçalves and Bruno Henrique.
