The actor Timothee Chalamet (of Dune and Wonka) surprised fans by appearing in a lookalike contest in New York’s Washington Square Park on Sunday (10/27). The event attracted hundreds of people and even brought in the police because there was no permit to take place.

According to the agency Associated Pressat least one person was arrested. Police tried to disperse the crowd – many dressed as Wonka or Paul Atreides, characters played by Timothy in the cinema – and imposed a $500 fine on the organizers of the contest.
Timothy, in turn he loved him. He appeared accompanied by bodyguards, but slipped into the crowd of fans and lookalikes and posed for pictures with several people. And the event continued even after the police dispersed. The group of lookalikes left the park and found an alternate location at a nearby playground.

The next movie of Timothee Chalamet it will be “Totally Unknown”, biopic about Bob Dylan. The role of the musician and singer, winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature, falls to the actor, that while really sing in the feature film.
Timothee Chalamet prepared for years for this character. As the project took some time to get off the ground due to production issues and the coronavirus pandemic, he had time to take singing lessons and deepen his research on Bob Dylan.
