According to Nada, astrologer of the new dating app Flirtin, communication breakdowns can upset both singles and couples.
In particular, three star signs are at “higher risk for romantic disasters” in August 2024, which is not an ideal horoscope.
“Since the oblique rotation of Mercury interferes with communication, you should be extra careful,” Nada said of all zodiac signs.
“Check every message before you hit send. Take your time and think about it before you say it…one wrong word can send you on a crash course.”
Singles who are considering getting back together with an ex are advised not to rekindle the romance.
Past relationships and unresolved feelings may surface, but now is the time to reflect on experiences and learn from past mistakes.
“Writing down your feelings and talking them through them can give you more clarity and self-awareness in your future relationships,” Nada said.
“When it comes to making new connections during Mercury retrograde, flexibility and patience are your best allies,” Nada added.
“When plans don’t work out, frustration gets you nowhere. Brush it off, take it as an opportunity to be spontaneous, and stop letting Mercury ruin your love life.”
The three signs that will be severely affected by this Mercury retrograde are Virgo, Leo and Gemini, and Nada explained why.
“This Mercury retrograde starts in Virgo, so Virgos will feel especially abandoned over the next month,” Nada warned. “My advice? I know you’re a perfectionist, but resist the urge to control every detail.
“If you can embrace the unpredictability and have fun, enjoy it! Otherwise, focus on self-care and activities that can keep your stress levels under control.”
From August 14th, Mercury retrograde and Leos are in the firing line, as their courage can be mistaken for callousness.
“If you notice a breakdown in your communication, listen carefully and think before you speak — a quick break can avoid potential conflict,” Nada said.
Then Gemini – ruled by grace – has “at worst” “recurring confusion, difficulty expressing themselves, [and] heightened emotions”.
Nada suggested, “Slow down and avoid big life decisions like starting a relationship.
“Show some patience and let your life unfold naturally if you want to avoid stress and misunderstandings.”
