Hezbollah attack: Israel captured 100 fighters
The Israeli military carried out a preemptive strike on Lebanese Hezbollah on Sunday morningafter discovering that this group was preparing an attack on the north of the country.
The army said about 100 fighter jets hit thousands of Hezbollah rocket launchers located in Lebanese territory.. As it was added, most of them targeted facilities in northern Israel, but some were aimed at attacking the central part of the country. The Glilot base is located north of Tel Aviv, near the city of Herzliya.
More than 320 rockets flew over Israel
Shortly after learning of the Israeli attack, Hezbollah announced that it had fired more than 320 Katyusha rockets and drones against 11 Israeli military bases in the north of the country.
The Israeli military reported that approximately 210 rockets and 20 Hezbollah drones flew over the country. Some of the missiles were shot down, many fell in open areas; some “hit, causing injuries and casualties,” the force said, without elaborating.
